Home Visit

Great design starts with an understanding of the space being transformed as well as planning. It is key that our team understand how you intend to use your space before we start and look at how we can make that possible. A free, home design visit will also help you to learn more about the possibilities within your space.

During the visit we will :

  • Accurately measure and map out the space to be transformed
  • Discuss what you want and how that will work functionally, whilst pointing out any potential issues
  • Discuss range, design, costs and fitting services in more detail
  • Leave you to think about all the options

This is a hassle free service , we always leave you a few days to think over the options, before getting back in touch. Our home Visit  is completely free and there is no-obligation to buy anything or pressure from our team at any time.

Design and Quote

After the Home Visit, we get to work on the transformation design. Our professional designers have over 20 years (since 1995) experience  and understand that the first cut is never the final version, we work with you until you are happy with the layout using our precision design software (ArtiCAD). When the first cut is ready, we arrange a meeting to discuss  further and any to refine any changes that the first design prompts. We then work closely with you until you are happy with your dream design. We discuss pricing and style; always working within  your  budget. Once you are 100% happy with that final design, we put together a more detailed quote and provide the system generated plan and drawings for sign off before any work commences.

If you are happy and want to proceed,  your installation is then assigned a project manager, who manages the process to completion and of course to your satisfaction. Your project manager will take the project through to the final phase and be your dedicated contact throughout the installation process.

Of course if you don’t want to proceed that is fine too, and there is no cost up to this stage of the process to you!

Delivery and Installation

Once you have the signed off the design, we then speak to our suppliers to arrange delivery of the new furniture and appliances at your convenience. We always aim to fit around your availability schedule, and of course sometimes we know that other work may be underway at your property as well as ours. Once you have agreed a fitting date, the order is placed with our suppliers for delivery and our experienced fitters and other trades are booked in around your schedule. At this stage your project manager will give you a call, to detail the schedule . Before the project starts we have a final inspection of the space, with our trade team, to ensure we won’t hit any unexpected snags.

Once the work starts, our trade teams on site aim to be clean, tidy and respectful of your home at all times. We provide a copy of the work schedule with full details of the work and when it will be done, with contact details for the project manager and the tradesmen involved. We always work to the required British and EU gas and electrical safety regulations.

To make sure you are comfortable with progress, and that the site is clean and safe as our team leave for the day, we have a sign off sheet which the fitter will request you initial at the end of each day, to confirm this. If we come across any unexpected problems, your project manager is only a call away and can come to the site at any time to help iron out any problems. Any diversion from the schedule or the cost will be fully agreed with you before additional work is undertaken.

Our process has been refined over many years and we have rarely come across any issue that cannot be resolved quickly and efficiently to ensure a stress free installation.

After Sales Support

On completion day, the fitter or project manager will request that the installation is signed off to confirm that everything works as expected and the design is to your satisfaction. The project will only be signed off if you are completely satisfied with the installation and finish.

After project completion your project manager will arrange a follow up visit or call to  take feedback from you on the whole process, this helps us to keep improving our service to all of our customers.
